Next Generation Programme: Our coaching programme brings together the rising stars from councils across the UK to collaborate on real-world challenges they encounter in their roles. This programme is designed for colleagues whose are excelling in their current role and would benefit from some mentoring and building their sector network.
The core element of this programme is a series of sessions with a mentor, normally a senior director in a local authority. In each session, a group member will present a real-time challenge they are facing, there will be group discussion with a sharing of experiences and different strategies to put into action, all facilitated by your group mentor.
There will also be bonus sessions and resources across the course of the year. Bonus sessions include insights into how local authority leaders forged their careers.
