Next Generation Programme: Progressing your career

Our coaching programme will see councils’ rising stars join their peers to work together on the live challenges that they face. Led by a hand-picked senior council officers, programme members will have the opportunity to present their most pressing problems and explore new perspectives and solutions.

We’re looking for up-and-coming team members who already excel in their role and want to expand their experience to progress their career within their council.

Similar recent sessions have attracted heads of service and senior manager-level employees. We actively encourage applications from people of minority groups and those with disabilities.

This programme is only open to New Local network members and is by nomination by chief executive only.
