At this event we will talk through our latest research report, Where People Meet: How We Celebrate, Sustain and Reimagine Community Centres.

Following the launch of the report, we would like to give our members the opportunity to hear more about our findings and feedback their thoughts as to how this might be helpful in their day to day work. 

The report sets out the vital role that community centres play in local areas – as the real hearts of their neighbourhoods that bring people together, support health and wellbeing, build local pride and offer space for joy.  We make the case for community centres as a vital piece in the puzzle of assets within a place, that local government should recognise and champion community centres as important partners in identifying and working to address key strategic local priorities and as part of a wider approach to prevention.
