Strategy Lab: Moving forward policy and practice on place-based prevention

This session is for senior local government officers to share opportunities, challenges and learning on how to make progress towards developing a more prevention-focused local system. We will explore the group’s ideas, learning and experiences on areas including:

• How to create the space to try more preventative ways of working
• How to unlock resources to do this work
• How to build momentum within the council, with partners and with communities around preventative approaches

Our Strategy Lab sessions are a space to come together to discuss bold, practical ideas to futureproof councils and to create the conditions for place-based responses to the big challenges we face.
