In spring of 2016, NLGN and Veredus held two discussion events on the theme of collaborative leadership.

The participants were council chief executives: the first event representing some northern local authorities and the second, London boroughs.

This paper explores the themes of this discussion and makes three key recommendations about how to achieve better leadership outcomes for local government.
