Join us for an inspiring, peer-driven session designed to tackle the real challenges and opportunities councils and communities face today. At this Innovation Exchange we will focus on councils building long term partnerships and how you can develop long term system collaboration to better serve diverse communities and tackle health inequalities.

We will hear from James Moody, Head of Strategy and Innovation, Test Valley Council and their partners on how they have collaborated to develop services and health hubs in Andover, reflecting on the challenges and the impact they have seen in embedding this kind of collaboration and using local assets in more sustainable ways.

As an interactive session there will be time together in small facilitated breakout groups, where you’ll have the chance to connect meaningfully, exchange ideas, and identify practical solutions with those who truly understand your work. You will discuss ways to take this work forward within the changing context of NHS 10yr plan, and in relationships across place with new authorities post-LGR.

With colleagues from across the UK you will develop:

  • Useful takeaways from teams who are delivering impactful partnerships in place
  • A shared set of principals to take forward to help facilitate this type of work
  • Thinking around how council’s can use their convening power to develop relationships in place to facilitate citizen centred benefits
