Rewiring the State lays out a bold and comprehensive set of plans for devolution and public service reform that will fundamentally change where power lies in our country – a rebalance we, our partners and many others have long advocated for.

Following on from our response and ahead of the publication of the autumn white paper, which will detail comprehensive plans to shift power, funding, and accountability from Whitehall to local and regional leaders, we’re bringing New Local members together for an exclusive session to dig deeper into what these plans will mean for you in practice and create space for honest conversation about the opportunities and challenges. 

This session is open to anyone from our member councils and MSAs, but particularly targeted at strategy and policy directors and leads at all levels. It will provide an opportunity to hear reflections from New Local and leaders from our network and join an open discussion with peers. It’s also chance to shape our ongoing thinking as policy develops, and to leave with practical insight you can take back to your place. We look forward to you joining us.
