How We Did It: Shaping Place-Based Learning into a Localities Approach
Register now
Place based work focusing on addressing social, economic health and environmental inequalities has the potential to shift outcomes and opportunities for residents. This is ongoing and complex work and it is important to flex and adapt as necessary depending on the place and as the community responds.
At this How We Did It we’ll hear from Sarah Crampton, Director of the North Paddington Programme, Westminster City Council about their hyper local work in North Paddington and how this has developed over time from a hyperlocal approach into a localities approach, drawing on examples from their work in Paddington and elsewhere.
We will explore how this pilot programme has tested different ways of working and been responsive to the challenges that it has come up against. Giving you insight into how they have progressed the programme, with answers to the questions:
- What are the next steps in this work?
- How has agile and adaptive working played a part in the success of the programme
- How they have incorporated partners into the programme
