Laura joined New Local in September 2022 as Head of Network.

Laura was previously Head of Fellowship Engagement at the RSA supporting Fellows connecting with each other, with RSA programmes and achieving change across the world. Prior to that Laura led 4in10: London’s Child Poverty Network of over 200 local and national organisations, where she set up London Challenge Poverty Week. Laura has over a decade of experience campaigning on issues of poverty and disadvantage from both End Child Poverty and Barnardo’s. Laura is also a trustee at her local Citizens Advice.

Their Local: Laura was born in and lives in North London. Staying at various points along Green Lanes, in many different neighbourhoods, as it is one of the capital’s longest streets, stretching through Hackney, Haringey and Enfield on the route of an old drovers road.
