How We Did It: Citizens’ Assemblies

A citizens’ assembly can be incredibly powerful. Run it right and you’ll bring together diverse voices from your community to crack your biggest challenges. But delivering this delicate mix of deliberation and decision-making is far from easy.

In this session we focused on practical delivery:

• How do you go beyond the ‘usual suspects’ to reach the rarely listened to?
• What will make it constructive and not confrontational?
• What do you do afterwards that shows you’ve listened to people’s ideas
