Community Power Practice Network: Session 4
New Local is looking for senior officers from across our Network, who are at the cutting edge of Community Power and are working to make it a reality in their area.
The Community Power Practice Network uses an Action Learning Set model, to help members explore and address their challenges in a new, constructive and creative way.
This intimate and select group is made up of senior local government officers who have committed to share, and help each other overcome the obstacles they face in their common desire of shifting power and resources to their communities. The make-up of this group deliberately transcends boundaries of profession, geography and local government tiers, giving an opportunity to hear fresh perspectives and develop new solutions.
If you have are a senior officer with responsibility for strategic long-term thinking of your council and you have an understanding of, and passion for, shifting power and resources to the community, please get in touch with Francesca.
- Format: Six, two-hour sessions
- Commitment: Participants are asked to commit to attending all six sessions
- Dates: 14 September; 2 November; 9 December.
Participation in New Local events is free and exclusive to members of our Network. If you would like to find out more, please contact Francesca.
