Robert Pollock (TREASURER)

Chief Executive, Cambridge City Council

Robert is Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council and a Director at Social Finance.

Prior to that he was a senior civil servant at the Treasury, and has held senior leadership roles at the UN in New York, with Westminster City Council, and the National Infrastructure Commission.

In 2013, he set up the Public Service Transformation Network – a cross-Whitehall unit that partnered with local government and the wider public sector to co-design, test and scale a variety of public service reforms.

Robert is a also a Non-executive Director of a social enterprise – the Public Service Transformation Academy – that delivers the Cabinet Office’s Commissioning Academy, Fellow of the RSA, member of the Ethics and Policy Network, and a huge fan of the Mountain Bothy Association.
